This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the building and opening of the Sons of Hermann Hall at 3414 Elm Street in Deep Ellum, Dallas Texas. The Sons of Hermann is a fraternal organization that is owned and operated by it's membership and staffed by member volunteers. In addition to their members' weekly activities, the Sons of Hermann has been a community gathering place and the site of hundreds of weddings, banquets, memorials and family affairs, in addition to acquiring a national reputation as a world-class dancehall and concert venue. Often recognized as the BEST LIVE MUSIC VENUE in DALLAS, the Sons offers a unique Concert experience in the fashion of a long-gone era. The following shows, and many more that are being scheduled as we speak, are an on-going celebration of this VERY SPECIAL MILESTONE !!!

Coinciding with the Annual Deep Ellum Arts Festival, the AllGood Cafe is proud to present a True Legend of American Songwriting and accomplished Artist as well. TOM RUSSELL has recorded 25 albums and his songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Doug Sahm, Nancy Griffith, Joe Ely, Iris Dement, KD Laing, and many other great artists. TOM RUSSELL was born in Los Angeles in 1953 and now makes his home on a 2.68 acre "badland farm" on the border of El Paso and Juarez. TOM RUSSELL is also an established painter represented by Yard Dog Folk Art in Austin and Rainbow Man in Santa Fe. A selection of his artwork and prints will be on display, and FOR SALE, at the AllGood Cafe on this ONE DAY ONLY.
